Gabe Flores Jr. Shines in Victory over Conway

Tonight on the Deontay Wilder -Tyson Fury undercard, the 19-year-old undefeated Gabe Flores Jr. (17-0, 6 KOs), of Stockton, California, scored a 1st round knockdown en route to his unanimous decision victory over Matt Conway (17-2, 7 KOs, 1 NC). Pittsburg’s Conway however rose up and pushed forward taking heavy shots from Flores Jr. The game Conway however stayed a step behind Flores Jr. who outboxed him throughout the fight and after eight solid rounds of action judges Tim Cheatham scored the fight (79-72), and Eric Cheek and Chris Flores each scored the fight (80-71) all in favor of Flores Jr.
