Blue Chip Prospect Joey Abudy to Ink Multi-Fight Deal with MarvNation

National Boxing Champion, WBC Green Belt Amateur Champion and undefeated Blue Chip Welterweight Prospect, Joey Abudy (1-0, 1 KO) will sign a Multi-Fight contract with the Southern California promotional company MarvNation next Thursday April 13th during the open media workout for the upcoming MarvNation “BoxFest” event.
Fighting out of Torrance, California the 22 year-old Abudy who trains under the tutelage of Marco Trejo at the Sweet Science Gym in Hawthorne California, was an Elite Amateur Boxer who was ranked #1 in the nation by Boxrec. During his amateur career Abudy won multiple national championships including becoming the WBC “Green Belt Champion.” This past February, Abudy made his professional debut and walked away with a brutal second round knockout of Juan Molina.
In his next fight Abudy will take on Raymundo Rios Cardiel (4-10-2, 3 KOs) of Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico on the upcoming MarvNation “BoxFest” card April 15th, 2023, from the Derby Room in Pomona, California. “I’m excited to sign with MarvNation.” Stated Abudy. “They put together some of the best local shows and recently had a big PPV card between Regis Progrias and Jose Zepeda. I really appreciate Marvin (Rodriguez) giving me the opportunity to fight locally and grow my Southern California fan base.
