BROOKLYN — After a quick night of work in what should have been Luis Ortiz across the ring, Deontay Wilder retained his world heavyweight championship as he stopped Bermane Stiverne on the latest edition of SHOWTIME Championship Boxing from the Barclays Center.

BROOKLYN — The World Boxing Council (WBC) recently announced that Deontay Wilder will face Bermane Stiverne after Luis Ortiz lost his shot at the world title after failing a drug test within the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association’s (VADA) administered tests.
