Gennady Golovkin visits children’s hospital in Mexico

MEXICO —  A great champion inside and outside the ring has proved to be the Kazakh boxer, current reigning middleweight, Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, after today during his tour, took the time to visit the Children’s Hospital Moctezuma east of Mexico City.

World middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, accompanied by the President of the World Boxing Council Mauricio Sulaiman and Dr. Armando Ahued, Secretary of Health of the Government of Mexico City, made the unexpected visit with the goal of giving a smile to all those children who so needed, in addition to living and giving them some toys.

“I congratulate the doctors for the work they do every day, this is the real life, for you are the true heroes,” were the words that world champion Gennady Golovkin told.

For his part the President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, highlighted the greatness, simplicity and humility of the Kazakh boxer, as he said that the visit of Golovkin gives children a great motivation to get ahead in life.
Dr. Armando Ahued thanked both Mauricio Sulaiman and the Gennady Golovkin for his visit which was very emotional after having distributed toys to the children
