NEW YORK — After almost 50 bouts as a professional, the multi-division world champion Miguel Cotto will compete in his curtain call fight this upcoming December 2, in Madison Square Garden.

135 pound world champion Mikey Garcia recently stated on Twitter that conversations with Golden Boy Promotions were conducted for possible bouts with Miguel Cotto and Jorge Linares, but that Golden Boy wanted a multi-fight contract in order to make both opponents happen.

Top Rank has officially stated that 122 pound world title holder Jessie Magdaleno will not compete in what would have been the second defense of his title against Cesar Juarez this upcoming November 11.
