LOS ANGELESJulio Cesar Chavez, Jr., coming off a one-sided loss to Saul “Canelo” Alvarez back in May, said on social media that he will return on November 11, at The Forum.

The fight will be at the super middleweight limit of 168 pounds, and it will be against former WBC world title holder, Anthony Dirrell. The 32-year-old Dirrell, who is from Flint, Michigan, hasn’t been in the squared circle since January of this year when he gained a victory over Norbert Nemesapati.

“My next fight will be on November 11 in Los Angeles,” Chavez Jr. tweeted. “Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs Anthony Dirrell at The Forum in Los Angeles. Super middleweight — 168 pounds.”
